About this Event
At the University of Delaware’s Disaster Research Center, you will find the world’s leading collection of disaster-related material.
During this workshop, explore and engage with the artifacts and archival holdings from the collection to learn more about disaster mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery. You will also discover how people at UD and worldwide have used the materials in the collection in their interdisciplinary research.
Whether you are interested in using the materials for your own research or just want to learn more about the unique materials in the collection, all are welcome.
Valerie Marlowe, assistant director for archives and collections at the Disaster Research Center, and Alison Wessel, social sciences librarian, will lead the workshop.
This workshop is open to the public. It is co-sponsored by the Disaster Research Center and the Graduate College.
Registration is required as seating is limited. The workshop will not be recorded.
