Items requested through the Library Pickup Service, like the books seen here, will be available to pick up at the entrance of Morris Library during designated hours.
Library Pickup Service Launches Aug. 10
In addition to robust online resources and an array of virtual services, including research help, consultations, workshops and teaching collaborations, from the Library, Museums and Press, the University of Delaware community soon will have access to physical materials from the Library’s circulating collections.
On Monday, Aug. 10, UD students, faculty and staff can request books, DVDs, video games and multimedia equipment to check out and pick up from Morris Library. Items from Morris Library, the Chemistry Library, the Physics Library and the Education Resource Center can be requested in support of research, instruction or recreation. All requests must be submitted in advance through the “Get This For Me!” button in the Library’s catalog or through the Retrieval Request Form.
Members of the UD community will be notified by email when their requested items are ready to be picked up. Once notified, they can retrieve their items between 1-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, from the entrance of Morris Library.
Individuals will need their UD ONEcard to pick up their items. They will also need to wear a mask or cloth face covering and maintain physical distancing upon arrival at Morris Library.
If you have questions or need assistance with the Library Pickup Service, please use the Ask the Library service on the Library website.
