The University of Delaware Library will provide URLs to articles and book chapters requested for course reserve if these are held in its collection of electronic resources. If faculty do not have a copy of the needed reading and the Library does not have access to the reading in its collection of resources, please contact Cindy Bailey, Library Services Coordinator, Help Center at clbailey@udel.edu or (302) 831-2455 for assistance.
A Course Reserve Reading List form in Microsoft Word format, specifically for processing Electronic Reserves material, is available here.
An Electronic Reserves reading list of citations of articles or book chapters available in the Library’s collection of electronic resources may be submitted using the UD Dropbox system:
- Enter your contact information and a message in the first box.
- Enter “UD Course Reserves” and “lib-reserves@udel.edu” as the name and email in the second box.
- Choose the file to upload in the third box. To send multiple files, you will need to submit this form once for each individual file.
- Click the Drop-off the files button.
PDFs of articles or book chapters should be submitted using the UD Dropbox system as well, using the above instructions.
Course Reserve staff will confirm receipt of your Electronic Reserves reading list and material via email. Confirmation will include, when needed, a password assigned by the library, which you will need to provide to registered students in your course in order for them to access your Electronic Reserves material in DELCAT Discovery.
