American County Histories to 1900

This database will ultimately include the complete text of late 19th century histories of cities and counties of the original thirteen states (with the exception of Virginia), plus Vermont and Maine.

This collection is currently divided into two groupings:

• Mid-Atlantic States
  Includes publications from Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania
• New England States
  Includes publications from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont
