Connect to Resource

Videatives is a streaming service of short video clips demonstrating scenarios in child development and education. Each video is accompanied by supporting, explanatory text. Videos can be browsed by subject and age of child.

Note about Apple products compatibility:
Videatives requires the use of Adobe Flash Player, which the Apple operating system does not support. This is particularly a problem when using Apple mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads. The most reliable way to run video clips from Videatives is to use an Android device or one with a Microsoft Windows operating system.
Using a recent version of the Chrome browser on a MacBook should also work.

Using Safari on a MacBook results in the error message: “The video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported: https://streaming-videatives-com.udel.idm.oclc.org/videative_assets/videos/128.” You may be able to use Safari if Flash is enabled in the settings, but this is not guaranteed.
